• Eduardo Pinheiro Gondim de Vasconcellos

    Is a Full Professor in the areas of Technology Management and Organization for Innovation, at the Business Administration Department of the School of Economics, Management and Accounting (FEA), at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. He is a Member of the Executive Board of IAMOT - International Management Association for the Management of Technology and member of the Advisory Board of GLORAD Center for Global R&D and Innovation. He is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of R&D Management and he is a member of the review committee of several international journals such as R&D Management, and Journal of Engineering and Technology Management. He received his MBA from Vanderbilt University (USA) and his Ph.D. degree in Business Administration from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. He was Dean of FEA, Chairman of the Budget Committee of the University of Sao Paulo, member of the Science and Technology Council of the State of São Paulo, and a member of the Coordinating Committee of the Study on the Competitiveness of the Brazilian Industry (Ministry of Science and Technology). He has published extensively and has served as a consultant in the area of Technology Management and Organization for Innovation to the World Bank ( Washington), United Nations, (Finland, Austria, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico), UNESCO ( Nigeria), Panamerican Health Organization (Washington), Organization of the American States. He also served as consultant to several private companies as Rhodia, Daimler Benz, Whaler, Johnson&Johnson, Corn Products, VW and others. Additionally he has been a Visiting Researcher in the area of Technology Management at the Technology Institute of Northwestern University (USA) and at Carleton University (Canada). He was Guest Lecturer at Youngstown University (USA), Sophia University (Japan), Vanderbilt University (USA) and Linköping University (Sweden). He was one of the founders and President of FIA – Management Institute Foundation, a private organization created by the faculty of the Business Department of FEA/USP, one of the founders and President of the Brazilian Management Association of Graduate Programs (ANPAD), one of the founders and President of the Latin American Technology Management Association. He presented papers and delivered lectures in Canada, USA, France, Spain, Denmark, Italy, Japan, Sweden, Portugal, Mexico, Costa Rica, and other countries. He is the author of more than 150 papers.
